On a morning trip around Kanpur, India in 2015, Phool founder Ankit Agarwal noticed a plethora of discarded flowers floating in the Ganges river.

These flowers had largely been used by worshippers and temples and couldn't be thrown out in a traditional way, so the river was their go-to. but Ankit felt these flowers could live a second life.

Several years later, Phool is collecting these flowers and developing vegan leather called fleather.

The product is 90% done, and their pilot is in development with Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein!
