The chocolate scorecard ranks treatment of workers, farmers, and Earth

Cholocate is my all-time favorite food. If a dessert has chocolate in it, count me in.

But not all chocolate is created equal, and I'm not only talking about taste.

The chocolate supply chain is muddled with bad working conditions, deforestation, and unethical practices. So advocates and academics decided to do something about it.

By creating the chocolate scorecard, every major chocolatier is ranked side by side in a variety of categories like "Traceability & Transparency", "Deforestation & Climate", and "Living Income".

The highest two are ones I've never tried before, but you can count on my adding them to my next grocery list.
