Coal has been around for over a hundred years, and has historically led the charge on energy creation in the US. Other fossil fuel-based energy methods, nuclear, and renewables have trailed behind.

But now, coal leading the charge is a thing of the past.

For the first time ever in history, renewable energy sources like dams, wind turbines, and solar panels have produced more electricity in the US throughout 2022 than coal!

As the price of renewable energy sources continues to decline while public pressure continues to increase on eliminating greenhouse gases from our atmosphere, this will only continue to trend in the right direction.
