Lula is elected president of Brazil!

The Amazon rainforest depended upon the election of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva ("Lula") over incumbent Bolsonaro.

Thankfully, Lula won the election by about 2 million votes.

After he won, he excitedly said let's get to zero deforestation. Couldn't agree more, Lula!

Thankfully, this isn't an empty promise. During his last presidency, he managed to cut deforestation down by over 80%.

Let's make it 100% this time :)
